Mēdeia2.0 ISSUE N˚01

¥3,960

< Mēdeia1.0 > is a project that uses fashion as a medium to inform people about events and social issues around the world as captured by photographers in Japan and abroad.

The next phase of the project, < Mēdeia2.0 > , will focus on the "margins" of thought and emotion, rather than directly conveying the truth.

The first issue is a collection of work by Tunisian photographer Zied Ben Romdhane. Focusing on his hometown, this project focuses on the local youth after the Tunisian revolution. The work attempts to interpret how new identities were formed among the Tunisian people during a series of economic and social crises along with significant changes.
Young people spend a long day with their friends in a given place and live in the present with something depressing. Zied interprets the figure as "Escape", attracting with his unique aesthetics and questioning the bottom of their hearts and those who see them.
